As a professional performer and teacher, Lee Evans feels strongly that jazz can and should be incorporated in the piano lesson, His series consists of over 80 publications with can be used as supplementary material or as a course dedicated to the study of jazz itself. Lee Evans' concepts have drawn international attention, even to publication in Japan and the Soviet Union. A native of New York City, he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from New York University, and earned his Master of Arts and Doctor of Education Degrees from Columbia University. He is in constant demand as a clinician and speaker, and averages 40 workshops each year plus appearances at state and national meetings.
