Caritas abundat (Three-part equal)

Here, Alexis VanZalen adapts the antiphon and psalm tone of the traditional words and music by Hildegard von Bingen. While some choirs may choose to sing only Hildegard’s chant, others may wish to follow the “Caritas abundat” melody, sung in unison, with the psalm verses included in this edition, followed by a final repetition of Hildegard’s antiphon, this time embellished with the high and low parts added by VanZalen.
