In England, the traditional greeting of good will and health during the holiday season gave rise to the creation of several regional tunes that are still well known and loved today. This joyful arrangement skillfully utilizes three of the most familiar wassail melodies: North England Traditional, Somerset and Gloucestershire, with the last section of the piece featuring portions from all three tunes combined, leading to a final, robust "Wassail!"
