No notes havebeen changed from the original composition but phrasing marks, sometimes misinterpreted in the original edition asbreath marks, have been removed. Modern edition crescendi, diminuendi and swells that mey be familiar to soloists todayhave been removed since they serve to arrive at certain climaxes too soon.
